With sales of 415 million euros (2009) Beluga Shipping is the world market leader in the project and heavy-lift cargo segment. Our team of 555 qualified staff members on shore -- 450 in Bremen, 105 internationally -- and 1,500 on board the vessels is responsible for the Group’s success.

Beluga Shipping GmbH functions as the umbrella organisation for the business activities of the Beluga Group. The strategic planning for the coming years and various financing models are developed by Beluga Shipping’s corporate management. Furthermore, the majority of the services, including those for the two subsidiaries and the international branches, such as in Human Resources, Marketing and Accounting, are performed within Beluga Shipping GmbH.

Beluga Chartering GmbH carries out the core business of the Beluga Group – chartering its own fleet with project and heavy-lift cargo. Beluga Chartering has the experts for every transport challenge as well as to handle the operating aspects of the voyages. Our charterers ensure maximum customer satisfaction and vessel employment at all times.

Beluga Fleet Management is responsible for the crew on board, junior staff within the framework of the SEA ACADEMY, technical support and new vessels.

Beluga Chartering GmbH as well as Beluga Fleet Management GmbH & Co. KG are 100% subsidiaries of Beluga Shipping GmbH.
